Kenwood CAT control and Digital mode interfaces to use software such as Ham Radio Deluxe, FLDigi, WSJT-X to operate PSK31, FT-8, JT9, JT-65, Echolink and many other AFSK modes.

We offer a large range of interfaces to ensure maximum compatibility with modern and older PCs and digimode software. You can also choose to use your PCs internal sound card to generate/decode your Digimode signals or to use an external sound card interface to free up your PCs sound card for normal use. We use icons shown below to guide you to the best choice for your equipment setup.

	Suitable for any AFSK and Digital mode such as FT8, JT9, PSK31, WSPR ect. Perfect for use with WSJT-X, FlDigi, Ham Radio Deluxe (DM780), Echolink and many others. Please note that some of these applications offer enhanced functionality when you also have CAT control of the radio.
	The interface has a built in external USB Sound Card based on C-Media CM108 chip. This frees up your PCs internal sound card for normal windows functions. The interface has a built in PTT function and can be used without a CAT interface.
	The interface gives you CAT control of your transceiver via a built in USB Comm port. CAT control allows you to set/get the frequency and mode of your transceiver. The interface used the highly reliable FTDI UART comm port chipset.

Our Latest Digimode-4 interface provides a single USB connection to your PC and has both built-in USB CAT control and its own built-in USB Sound Card. The interface allows you to dedicate your digital mode working to the external sound card and its independent level setting controls leaving your PCs internal card for normal Windows functions.

This interface is fully wired for your PC and transceiver. Just follow the provided instructions to download the FTDI drivers. The in-built sound card drivers are included in your operating system and the interface will pop up as a generic USB PnP Sound Device. The interface plugs into a free USB port on your PC and to your transceiver CAT and Data/PKT ports. PTT keying is via the interfaces built-in USB comm port RTS signal or you can choose to PTT over the CAT commands if your transceiver supports this.

The Tx/Rx audio signals are galvanically isolated by Bourns 600:600 Ohm transformers and the hardware PTT is opto-isolated.

With this interface, you will be up and running on FT8, PSK31, Echolink, SSTV, Pactor, Packet or any mode that requires CAT control and Tx/Rx Audio Interfacing between your PC and Radio within minutes.

Cable length is 1.5m from the USB port on your PC to the interface box. The cables from the interface box to the transceiver is 0.6m. The box is very compact at 80x40x20mm making it ideal to hide away behind the PC or transceiver using no desk space.

Just follow the instructions to download the FTDI drviers, configure up your CAT/Digimode software and you are up and running. The interface plugs into a free USB port on your PC to provide the CAT and PTT keying and to your PCs own Sound Card. At the radio end, it plugs into the CAT and Data ports.

The Tx/Rx audio signals are galvanically isolated by Bourns 600:600 Ohm transformers and the hardware PTT is opto-isolated. The USB section of the interface uses the highly reliable FTDI Chipset and provides a virtual comm port allowing full CAT control and hardare PTT keying over the RTS signal.

External USB Sound Card isolated audio interface allowing you to operate many AFSK digital modes such as PSK31, FT8, JT9, JT65 and Echolink. Fully plug and play. Simply plug the USB cable into your PC and the Data plug into your transceiver.

The interface uses the C-Media CM108 USB Audio Chipset and most modern operating systems already have the driver pre-installed. The advantage of this interface is your PCs normal soundcard is not tied up for Digital mode operations. As you now have a separate and dedicated soundcard for your Digital Mode working, you can independently set the Tx/Rx audio levels leaving normal PC sound unaffected.

The interface is fully galvanically isolated between PC and Radio. The Tx/Rx audio signals are isolated by Bourns 600:600 Ohm transformers and the hardware PTT is opto-isolated. The PTT is keyed by an internal VOX circuit in the interface.
