Kenwood Digital Mode and CAT Control Interfaces

Kenwood CAT control and Digital mode interfaces allowing you to use Digimode Software such as Ham Radio Deluxe, FLDigi, WSJT-X to operate PSK31, FT-8, JT9, JT-65, Echolink and many other AFSK modes.

We offer a lot of interface versions and always get asked which interface is best for my set-up. This very much depends on your PC, radio, budget and the performance you are looking for.

Some of our interfaces use your PCs internal sound card. These rely on your PC having separate 3.5mm Line Out and Mic In jacks. Some of our interfaces give you a separate external USB Sound card which frees up your PCs internal card for normal Windows duties. Some interfaces are galvanically isolated and are best chosen if you are worried about grounding. Some of our budget interfaces are not galvanically isolated.

Only you know which one suits your particular needs based on your particular shack set-up, what your budget is and what features you need.

ALL of our Digimode interfaces are suitable for FT8, JT65, PSK, Echolink and the other myriad of Digital Modes you can play with.

Our Digimode-3-Micro interface is perfect if you are looking for a compact Digimode interface for a go-bag for portable use or you are looking to set up a Digimode set-up on a budget.

The USB Audio codec is built into the USB plug shell and that includes its built-in VOX PTT circuit. It simply plugs into a spare USB port on your PC and then into the Accessory/Data port on your radio.
